There are no threads on this insert. It is housed in a metal housing that is attached to the faucet. The housing is made of metal and does not come with it.

A small component solved a major issue

For years, I was unable to obtain hot water in my kitchen. In a kettle, I boiled water. I decided to disassemble the faucet and clean the aerator when my pressure started to drop. I couldn't get it clean, so I ordered this one to take its place. It not only restored my pressure, but it also provided me with an abundance of hot water. I spent $8 on a job that I expected to cost thousands of dollars.

NOT APPROPRIATE FOR PRICE PFISTER

I tried, but the Price Pfister Avanti F- doesn't fit. 529- 7ANS. If anyone knows of a good alternative to modular code 941-, I'd appreciate it if they could point me in the right direction.
