It fits the standard 10" filter housing and is a good filter at a reasonable price

Wound filters are said to be superior to solid and pleated filters in the literature. I use wound on a regular basis and have never had any issues with it. These are fine, but they're a little pricey; if you look around Amazon, you'll probably be able to find wound 5 micron for a lower price.
