Questions & Answers
Is there a backwards connection?
The left is the inlet side, and the right is the outlet side. While not visible in the photo, there is a flow direction arrow marked on the regulator body, just below the pressure gauge. br>br>To make the flow direction go from right to left, rotate the regulator so that the back is facing forward. Only hand tighten/loosen the screws on the gauge port blocks, as there is a secondary gauge port block on the back to allow the pressure gauge to be installed on the new front side.
If that doesn't work, you can always turn it around. It should work fine; I've got one mounted as shown in the photo.

So I guess I'm a "DUD. " Straight out of the box, it leaked like a sieve. I wasted several hours removing my old one and replacing it with this one, only to have to remove it again. I discarded it and went to a local retailer to purchase a different brand. I strongly advise against using it.
This regulator appears to be in good working order, but it is a replacement for one that arrived and only worked for about two days before leaking heavily around the bonnet. After a few months, this one appears to be in good working order.
Any setting less than inlet pressure leaks air through the bleed hole, which is then returned.
It's accomplishing its goal! I tried the more expensive ones and they didn't last more than a year, so I decided to try one that was less expensive! So far, everything is going well!.
This is exactly what my husband desires.
The regulator is excellent.
This device is completely useless. The regulator has no effect on air pressure. Disappointment on a grand scale, piece of garbage.
