In an attempt to fix an exhaust bolt that broke off on my chipper, I tried everything. There was a threaded aluminum part on my outboard motor that was stripped. As well as this kit, I also ordered the stainless steel insert. performed the installation successfully on a piece of wood before beginning with the actual part. I did have to practice a few times to get a feel for how it would look. I was satisfied with the product.
