The instructions did not come with it, so I went to a big box store to get them. It is suggested that I start by drilling a smaller hole (pilot) maybe 3 inches deep then finish the 3/8 inch hole. Concrete drill bits should be used
Anchors in concrete, expanding anchors
It looks like you need 6x6 support instead of 4x4. Take a look!
As for an 8 foot post, I wasn't sure if it would be stable enough since I only used it for a 36 inch high front porch post. It works great - I can lean on it and it doesn't move at all. It would probably move a little more if it had an extra 5 feet

The mounts I have used before have been varied. This one, however, is the most heavy duty I have come across. Using the included concrete anchors, I anchored the concrete to the bricks. There was some drilling into the concrete that had to be done. You know how concrete anchors work, right? Buy, duh, duh, yeah. Despite its relatively lightweight design, the hardware is very strong. If you are mounting to wood, you will also receive large wood lag bolts. The fence we use is made of this material. It would probably break and break the wood before this escapes the concrete if it ever falls down. We no longer have to worry about the fence wobbling like the cheap thin we used previously. In order to get my 4x4 to fit on the mount, it had to be banged into place. I could have cut a little more off, but I'm the type who likes to go the hard way and bang the mounts down into the ground. Perhaps I should have done this while the pole was on the ground and before mounting it to the concrete, as falling from the ladder would have been very dangerous. It's just that I'm stupid like that. My usual method of doing things is to do it the hard way, and not to think it out first. Don't follow my example and do it The right way to do it is to follow the steps mentioned above. I still think these things are awesome, though!.
There is no guarantee that the vendors will meet your needs. I'm in love with this! Concrete seems to have buried the posts. Before and after photos can be viewed here. All we need to do now is add some spindles. The following is an example An anchor holds the deck to the stairs behind the stairs is a cement porch An anchor is made of concrete. In a hurricane, the house will surely be destroyed, but the deck will be preserved. All you need is 20 bucks and You won't find a better deal anywhere else. PS. [
] It may be necessary to use a sledge hammer to install some.
My bracket was purchased but returned because the concrete I intended to mount it to was weak and would not stay in place. Neither the bracket nor the hardware is to blame for this. I found the bracket to be well built, and it comes with all the fasteners needed to install it.
Despite my expectations, this post anchor did exactly what I wanted it to do and was supplied with all of the hardware that was needed for the job.
These were exactly what I was looking for and I was so glad I found them. The products are worth the price, however you do get what you pay for. I purchased other parts I needed for another project and the metal was thicker and you couldn't see the welding lines where the product I purchased was thinner metal and not as well made as it could have been. It's a sturdy product, though I have no doubt that it's durable. It was easy to install, but make sure to measure everything correctly and to have help with whatever your building requires. This picture is still a work in progress. Please check back later.
The anchor bases I ordered will be used to attach retaining wall posts to concrete. Even if they are well made, it is difficult to attach any part of them to a concrete wall. The placement holes had to be drilled with a hammer drill, which was a difficult process. All of the holes were drilled and then the rest of the installation was done efficiently. They work The service was excellent and I am glad to have used it.
This is an extremely heavy duty vehicle. As of right now, I haven't installed them. This is too cold and windy for me. Once they are installed, go back and review them again. It's good to know there are brackets like these. I was unable to use the anchor bolts shipped since they were metric and too short for my purpose. We had to use washers to level the walkway so our anchors needed to be longer since they were installed on an angle.
An anchor is used on a wood porch to hold together a 4 X 4 post. On one side of the post is a railing, while on the other is the post itself A gate is the other. Originally, there was only one post anchor, but it was too flimsy, so it was removed and replaced with two Added this one in place of the old Placement of the hinge was fixed and It is lower than the top height of the post holder, so I had to drill holes on one side to enable the hinges to attach to the post. *I was pleased with first one, so bought second for other post. They are solid, seem heavy, and look great. It is robust. As of now, we will see how they cope with the rain of winter, but so far we recommend them It is again worth buying. The delivery time was rapid, which was great because the project was on schedule.
