As a heads up, this is not a screw for the exterior. You will need this coarse thread screw for your Purebond plywood project if it is for indoor use. Thanks a lot!
Basically, if you are screwing from the bottom your screw end (point end) should extend no more than 1/2 inch above the frame edge when the screw is all the way to the bottom (or rather bottom top. I'm a woodworker who hasn't given up on it. It's a nice way to keep things out of sight while using a pocket hole screw as a quick way to connect boards. These are probably not the strongest solution for joining boards together, but it is certainly the fastest. For me, I did not have the time (or Therefore, if you're looking for a quick and easy way to make something you can be proud of, these aren't a bad option.
If I had looked at the prices at the big shops, I would have thought that buying Kreg brand screws meant paying more, but it turned out the Kreg screws were actually cheaper than other generic pocket screws. You didn't think it would be possible, did you?.
