Questions & Answers

Count only the part of the pin that bends over, not the pin itself. Can you tell me the size of the tubing in my bimini top?

We only have 3/4" of space to use between the compression spring and the piece that turns to lock it, so it can be compressed. Could possibly be as close as 5/8" tall. No matter how much it was advertised as being a "usable length 1", it didn't fit my 1" tubing.

Could you please tell me if these come ?

Is a great idea! I remove the bimini top from the boat whenever I won't be using it for a while, which meant I needed to take out four However, I had to slightly drill out the part's hole so it would fit, but it fits beautifully and snaps in and out with ease

The oval piece on the hanger was just too long to turn through the hole (once it was through the hole) and lock into place, but when I cut it down by a millimeter (or maybe it was just a fraction), it worked.

It is not possible to use 1" of the I just want to say that this does not have a useable length of one inch! It seems like it is of decent quality and is thick in comparison

By slightly drilling out my mounts and removing the spring from the pins, I was able to make it work. We will know if they are quality or not once saltwater is added to them!.

Pins that are 1/4 inch in diameter need slightly larger holes than ones that are 1/4 inch in diameter

My Bimini top had a screw in type. I replaced it. It was a bit of a challenge to drill a 9/32 inch hole to fit the 1/4 in pins, but I was able to do it and the pins work fine now. It is much better than a screw in system.

There are too few pins for these, so they are difficult to secure The puns are decent, however they do not fully fit through the mounts, making it difficult for them to be locked in place due to their short length
