The reason I did not return the 11 packs of safety coupler pins I purchased is that the use of these coupler pins didn't require 316 SS (although I would prefer that). In any case, consumers should receive the products as described on the Amazon website in return for the money they spent rather than being duped Since we are physically unable to examine the product we are buying, we are greatly reliant on what is described and shown to us. It appears to me that Amazon has been taken in by technology to the point where it operates with bare-bones staff, aside from packers and logistics workers. If there is inadequate adult supervision, too many sellers take advantage of the consumers since they do not want to face any repercussions for lying to them. My loyalty to your company extends to more than 15 years. Being an Amazon customer, I am becoming more and more annoyed by the false advertising that is occurring across the platform, and the problem is getting worse as time goes on. In the instances when Amazon sells the products directly, it appears they scrutinize the statements more carefully, since this problem has largely to do with sellers using the Amazon platform, especially for Chinese products. Amazon should not allow this behavior to tarnish their reputation and business ethics. Although the pin is not magnetic (likely 316 SS), the locking loop has a high magnetic field. 316 SS isn't sensitive to magnetic fields thanks to its molybdenum content, so we do NOT use fakes.
