These are fantastic; I used them to attach cleats and bimini fittings to my t-top. My jon boat's railing I did have to cut them down a little to make them grab better (I used bolt cutters to cut 1/16th off each side so they could turn more inside the t-shirt). railing Once I tightened the hardware, which was 1/4-inch thick, it started to bite. 20 1. 5" socket cap screws with a flat head 18-32-32-32-32-32-32-32 Stainless steel number eight. I had originally used carriage bolts with wingnuts, but the wingnuts got in the way of tying the rope to the dock on the cleats, so I switched to these. They allow flush hardware on the cleats while still using the t-bar. Instead of drilling holes, I installed a rail system on my jon boat, which is made of high-quality stainless steel that hasn't rusted. I'm in the middle of a salty sea.
It's likely that many of them aren't up to par.
I needed square nuts for my office desk, and after searching all over, this was the only one that fit the size and appeared to be sturdy enough.
Good. You won't have to spend as much money on these as you would on the more expensive branded ones. Any accessory can be mounted to the common rails of yaks with just a proper length stainless screw! Wish there was a way to get free shipping.
Excellent product that does exactly what it says on the tin.
It's being used on a waverunner's home-built scuba tank rack. They haven't rusted or failed in any way.
I used these on the rail of my Kayak.
