For each diameter insert, what is the pitch of the threads?

Metric thread that meets standard specifications. There is one size larger than the other. The pitch is 25 mph

It is possible to attached a wooden knob to a metal threaded stick shift with this?

For most shift levers, you would need a 1/2” insert. One that big has never been seen by me. Sheet metal also works best with the inserts. If you wish to attach the insert to your knob instead of crimping it, you could use an industrial adhesive instead of a crimping tool.

What is the best way to attach a car shift knob to this item?

The inserts should not be used in the way they were intended. As the insert is installed on the other side of a sheet metal, the installation tool expands the insert's barrel by squeezing the sheet metal between the insert's opening and flange.

The seller resolved the issue very quickly, and I found the product to be of high quality for the price

The package came with all the contents mixed together (the dividers could have been designed better), and the quality of the product was good for the price. The original anchor on the roof rail on my 1992 Previa was a M5. I use this product to restore it. Using M6 I was able to replace it with no problems. A quick search on Google will show that there are several types of it, but the principle It is important that the hole is tightly fitting so the nutsert cannot turn. The M3 kit probably won't be used because it has most of the pieces (70) in the kit, but the 70 pieces are good to have.
