I bought some furniture that needed to be put together, and one of the cams (I had to look up what it was called) was broken when it arrived. I took measurements of the broken cam and placed an order for these. It saved me from having to wait an eternity for a replacement from the manufacturer or trying to return a large piece of furniture. I'm not a handyman, so I can't comment on quality, but it does a great job of holding my piece of furniture together.

The hardware is of poor quality - It's easy to bend and break

This hardware was purchased to hold a set of bookshelves together. Unfortunately, the cam locks are extremely inexpensive, and the majority of the connectors simply broke after a short period of use. These aren't even in the same league as Ikea's products. You can see how easily they bend and break by looking at the pictures. Look for some ready-made items. Hardware made in the United States to ensure long-term performance.
