There are none without serrations, as far as I know. The locking feature is not required on flange nuts. You can use nuts and washers to secure the flange.

They're nuts, and their flange is pretty fancy. I was not looking for grade 8, but neither was grade 8, so it doesn't matter. It was just a matter of bolting some lumber together. Compared to "big box" retailers, I find this store to be cheaper.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hard plastic case that came with it.
I love it. The rod holders are re-secured by replacing the wing nuts. A wrench is used to lock it down tight, making it more secure than wing nuts.
