I installed this nut to replace a broken cage nut required to fasten the subframe to the chassis on my 2010 Chevy Cobalt As opposed to trying to secure the "free spinning" pieces of the cage nut on their own, a 21mm wrench could easily be slotted into the frame pocket using a standard hex.
A flange nut is much harder to locate. They are no longer made by Mopar. For Jeeps, it's necessary to install a new nut when installing the control arms. You might notice that the clunking noise you hear is caused by a backed off nut before changing control arms. Do yourself a favor and check torque on existing nut before changing control arms.
