Do these thread nuts lock firmly in place or are they just segregated ?

There is a serrated edge to the flange, but it holds. Diesel engine equipment batteries are a good fit for them.

Those nuts appear to be reverse threaded, aren't they?

Once you crimp them into the material, the threads become standard or metric and can be tightened or loosened by rotating the bolt in the right direction, or the opposite. I hope this answers your question that these are not reverse threads. Many of these companies have been used by me on my car projects, and I recommend them very highly.

You can't get much more nutty than There was a request from Amazon for The nut is a nut, what else can I say? Has it really been hexagonal? It appears to match both the pitch and size that were listed? Is the color of the picture the same as The whole thing is nuts!

nuts are nice and heavy duty. The threads are cut well, so they are easy to install. There are no rounded edges on the hex the wrench fits on securely without breaking. In addition, the teeth are securely fastened to the bottom, so there's no worry that they may loosen. I had no corrosion issues with these nuts. It was a great purchase. I would highly recommend them.
