Questions & Answers

Someone said to me that I should buy a socket of the correct size to fit this nut. Could you please advise me on the size of the socket?

The 15/16 - Measured in inches. It would be best to go with a 6 The socket should not be pointed to the nut to avoid stripping it.

What is the serial number for the bladenut for craftsman t210 serial 13aoa1zs093? We are using a 15/16" nut on the t210 right now. The original?

If you don't know the height of the nut you have, check it out. I found there are two different heights, short and tall. I had to redo mine the first time because I got the tall and there were a lot of threads sticking out of During answer time it does not allow me to click on this ad to determine if it is the tall or short one. If you have the tall nut, you probably don't want to use the short nut because it leaves threads bare on the spindle and will make the job more difficult next time. This is a very slight difference of about 1/4". There is a likelihood that they would fit as it seems that all mowers are manufactured by the same company

Does a package of three come with them?

No, it comes in a single pack

Do the dimensions of theads refer to metric or standard units?

An inch and a half It is standard to use 18 threads! MILLIMETERS ARE THE SIZE OF MEASURING BY MEASUREMENTS The Pitch

A flare nut used to hold the flare in place
4/5

The design works as expected. In the beginning I had no idea that these are locking flare nuts once they're screwed on, do not expect to take them off and on or spin them on by hand. These nuts work much like nylon insert lock nuts, only they're all brass instead of nylon. It feels almost as if they are cross threaded initially, but after a few turns you realize these are lock nuts with chrome washers and all brass, not You must so ensure they are what you are looking for. For some bolts and washers, I prefer to use a flat washer, lock washer, then a regular nut, so I can turn them most of the way by hand before I have to use a wrench. As well, lock washer assemblies can often be removed easily. There is no right answer it depends entirely on how you use it. Their design allows them to work as intended.

There is no room for error

My order for 2 packs of 8ten spindles for MTD and Cub Cadet 918 was submitted I. 4865A and I. You can get this book from Amazon for $0. 4865A. We ordered these nuts so that blades can be held in place. These spindles are just what I was looking for and fit perfectly, as they It does not come with nuts, however, it does come with four new screws to attach them to.

The balance is off
3/5

In spite of the fact that this part may work, the nut is not centered on the washer (or however you wish to center As you can see, it is off-center so you can easily see it. It is important that parts with poor quality control, no matter how small they are, are made correctly and at least are balanced.

A soft texture
3/5

It appears to be a cast nut, which I never imagined could be so strong. The flange had to be ground down, and it acted like it was made of aluminum, though it actually This indicates after seeing the grain structure that it was cast. It was also easily marred by the wrench, which testifies to its pliability. If the item is low-stress, it's ok, but not if the item is important. Although I am not huge, I should be much stronger than I am.

They are the right ones for the 2009 troy bilt Pony mowers
5/5

The blade nuts for 2009 troy bilt pony mowers are shown here. There are other nuts with the same part number that are taller, and using those will expose the threads on the nuts, causing them to rust sooner! You should always replace the nuts when taking off blades and use loctite.

Worked for me
5/5

If you use a 15/16 wrench to loosen the jack shaft nut on Cub, MTD, Poula, Sears, etc. , it works great.

I am nuts! I bought these flange nuts when I bought my MTD riding lawn mower a while ago, but haven't bought them for a long time
5/5

I put them on and now two of the three blades are held by them There really isn't much point in reading about flange nuts. I don't know why I'm writing about these. At a bare minimum you should comment on how helpful this review was.

Thank you for making this available to me! I wish I didn't need to replace it, but it fits nicely! The blade bent after hitting something while mowing the grass and the nut crashed to the ground
5/5

On the bright side, the nut seems to be of lesser quality than the stem that holds the blade in place. The short version is that this part is a perfect fit for my 2018 pony lawn mower as well as the 2019 model that is compatible with I am just doing one review but.
