I was very excited and impressed when I opened these up for the first time. Those eyebolts seemed to be of good quality, as they had some weight to them. My roof rack gear could be tethered smoothly to the rack since I felt confident that they would be robust enough. I was disappointed to discover that when I connected them to my M8x1, they ran into some trouble. In my attempt to thread through my 10 eyebolts, I was only able to thread 5 of 25 hex bolts. I don't think the eyebolts were even threaded on several other five, and I don't even think they opened up the holes on some. There was an insufficient clearance for the bolts, so the hole had to be drilled the whole way. Thus, either more holes were not drilled or the taps were not fully turned, or the threads had collapsed and had burrs in them. Nevertheless, 5 of my hex bolts became trapped in these eyebolts, and while some of them were able to be retrieved, many of them broke and became stuck in the eyebolt's thread, preventing them from being used. On the two that I was able to remove my hex bolt from, I tried chasing the thread with my tap, but unfortunately the tap broke (these were threads that I tried to tap using tapping oil and proper tapping techniques). That being said, I was more disappointed that I lost my tap as it was more valuable The price was not bad, I have five working eyebolts at the moment, and that should be enough for what I need at the moment. Still, I suppose it's a lesson to buy good quality hardware every time.
I dud some of them. While Antrader was unable to send a replacement, it was able to refund the cost of the item that was damaged. *upgrading rating as I believe the customer service is excellent.
I've purchased these from Antrader a few times and they have for the most part been good. Recent experience has sadly led me to run into a dud with threading issues. The threading in the body of the device was messed up from inside, so I tried to work with it a few times before I discovered what was wrong. My guess is that they will be able to send a replacement if they can send one *I will update this review as soon as I receive a.

This is a great product, and I'm happy with my My front runner roof rack needed tie down anchors, and I found what I needed here. However, the bag inside the box had been torn open which meant I only received 9 out of 10 items in my order. There is only one downside, but I am happy with it otherwise!.

I use them on my frontrunner rack and they're great. One of the packages I received had no threads and was a dud. It would have earned a 5 star rating if there hadn't been one thing holding it back.
