My initial impression was not good after reading some bad reviews and testing quality immediately after purchasing. An impact drill and Allen wrench were the perfect tools for installing these with a proper pilot hole. It was impossible to pry out a 1/4"x3" bit in the vise after I stuck it in there. My next project was to build a kids loft bed with these, and they worked great, extremely One complaint I have is that the interior threads seem a little loose. However, that does not take away from the fact that they appear to be extremely durable.

It is unclear what the terms "thickness" and "sheerness" have anything to do with the review of these items, but I gave them all five (5) stars because it is an awesome My decision was to use a drill size of 11/32" as a pilot hole for the 1/4-inch spindle For the 5/16-inch size, the inserts are 20 sized and the 29/64" for the 8mm There are 18 sizes of pressure treated pine inserts available

This Nut Kit comes in a nutshell! The items were needed for a special home project and I discovered that I could use them for other things as well. You get two sets of 1/4" and 5/16" quick disconnects in the kit Five-eighths of an inch. To fasten a vise to my work bench (which is made from solid bamboo), I used a set of 5/16" x 5/8". In order to go back to where I was, I simply have to uninstall I'm out of here. The drill index I have is good so I just went a few sizes up until I found the right drill size for the fastener and the material I was doing it with.

It would be beneficial to have imperial drill bit sizes

There is only one complaint that I have which is that the sizing of the drill bit is up to This suggests a metric drill bit that would be too large, since it would convert to 3/8". As long as the hole doesn't get hogged out (drilled repeatedly), a clean vertical 11/32 inch hole will work for 1/4" thread nuts. My post will be updated as soon as I have used the other size. However, the product is great otherwise.

A shelf full of this book would be worth every penny

The truth is, I bought these just to have on hand, and sure enough, two weeks after buying them, I would say that even though they are not of the highest quality, they are still suitable for all but the most demanding environments, and I think they might last for a long time after that.
