Bolts that are 1/4-inch in diameter There is a bolt that comes in the size 20, which is very common. If you do not want it to go beyond 25mm, the length of the bolt must be less.

Chair leg glides are perfect for adding to chairs. By inserting these inserts, you can supply 3/4 to 3/8 inch holes A dining chair leg needs 20 threaded holes on the bottom so I can install some nice glides with a swivel. I was able to use these. For 3/8" holes, you need to screw the inserts in. It is a tight fit, so I greased the outside of the inserts with some melted candle wax to make installation easier and I used a small hex wrench with a long handle to tighten.

The screw-free design eliminates the need for mounting screws. A recessed sink is possible. There's no point in drilling a hole if you're going to drill one. All the way down to my lazy self Recliners had these other pieces in them and the base had to be removed. The bolts I bought were reversed bolts that I used to fix it beforehand. You will never use the other ones again if you decide to try these out. The burden of these isn't going to fall on you all at once.
As long as you use soft woods or plywood, there should be no issue. In use on hardwoods (especially oak), I had some trouble getting the insert fully into the hole without stripping the hex (wrench) part of the insert. I tried to make the insert hole a little bigger with a drill, but it did not prove successful. Had a hard time going up in size, only have limited size drill bits and would've had to go an extra 16th. I was finally able to fit them all into my project and it worked out, but it was more difficult than using.
This is a very easy process. Test installing the drill bit on a scrap piece of wood to determine the ideal diameter to use. Because hardwood and softwood behave differently, you may need to test it on a scrap piece. In any case, the 'test' device can be removed and used in any future experiments.
