My barstool's wood isn't strong enough to support a nail. The majority of them were broken or bent as a result of my actions. They're not of the same caliber as the ones I took out of my stool. I was let down.
Only one of the 165 nails used bent during driving due to my error, so using a hemostat to position these nails for driving made all the difference. The finish looks exactly like it does in the photos, and the Estwing tack hammer I bought on Amazon drove the nails in with ease and without damaging the heads.
Although they look fantastic when completed, many of them bowed and had to be removed. The fact that they were not scuffed by the hammer impressed me. I would suggest it.
These tacks were used to hold a large piece of plexiglass in a picture frame that I made. They worked perfectly for our project, and I've used one to hold burlap in one of my DIY projects as well. They're the perfect length, sturdy, and add a nice touch to any outfit. I strongly advise you to purchase them.
This is a waste of time. Only five of the thirty people who attempted it actually made it into the woods. The was twisted or broken.
Fixing it is extremely difficult. It isn't difficult enough that the majority of them work while bending down.
These are not upholstery nails, but thumb tacks. br>Each time they went into soft pine, they bent.
