They're nice, but I bought them for a unique purpose

My table saw has wide miter slots, and there are no other Tee-shaped slots. For a jig I want to make, I found slot bolts that would fit and hold. As a result, I went out and purchased them. I use my bench grinder to grind/flatten one side of the bolt until it fits into my miter slot. It works perfectly and accepts the 1/4x20 jig. Tightens in the same way that any other miter track bolt does.

The elevator bolt itself was excellent, but the head was excessively large. It's too big for a hasp. Still looking for a flat head bolt, but one that is a half inch longer and has a smaller diameter.
