I've tried two different approaches and both of them are effective. You can either enlarge the hole around the anchor and pull on the screw with pliers until the anchor comes out of the wall, or you can use a hammer to push everything inside the wall and then patch the hole. I hope you find this information useful.
Yes, if you drill all the way through the plaster, but there may not be enough room to get the toggle in if there are wooden slats behind the plaster!

It's quite effective. The 1/8-inch toggle bolt and wing nut are primarily used to secure my drywall-anchored bathroom towel bars, towel rings, and wall coat rack. The toggle bolt and nut anchoring system is, without a doubt, the best for anchoring wall-mounted items. I used to use plastic dry wall anchors, which are terrible, and then self-drilling toggle anchors. The items I had mounted began to fall apart. My toddler managed to rip a towel ring from the wall that had been secured with a self-drilling toggle anchor. br>I use the 1/8 inch because it necessitates the smallest hole of the three. I still need to pre-fill a large hole. I'm not sure if I'll have to re-drill, but I'm confident that I won't have to. items are being anchored once more For the 1/8' wing nut, you'll have to drill a 3/8" hole. I decided to buy a set of 1/8 inch only from the Hillman Group (also available on Amazon) because the 1/8 inch wing nut felt a little flimsy. Although the Hillman Group version appears to be of higher quality, this Helifouner version works fine and comes in a variety of sizes so you can see which one best suits your needs. br>If you found my review useful, please vote so that others can benefit from it as well. Thanks!.
I only needed a few of these molly bolts, and I didn't care if they were of high quality; As a result, this set met my requirements for the price. Then I came across a "USED" set for almost $1 on Amazon Warehouse. I thought to myself, "Great! 50 cheaper!" It gets even better! "br>It's a good thing I didn't need all of the pieces, because the set I got was apparently made up of leftover pieces from other sets thrown into a bag in the Warehouse hastily. I got all FOUR 1/4" bolts and wing nuts, but only SEVEN of the eight 3/16" wing nuts and NINE of the twelve 1/8" screws. As I previously stated, it's a good thing I didn't require all of the items I was supposed to receive.
During the installation of my shower towel rod, four of the 1/8" pieces busted and broke off. After the 1/8ths failed, one of the medium-sized pieces came loose while being installed into the larger holes I made. I was able to make it work with the medium sizes, so it only gets two stars for ease of use and installation.
These could be useful for securing something extremely light, but the metal is of poor quality. I wouldn't put my trust in them to support heavy objects, especially valuable ones. I believe that the drywall is stronger, and that once installed, these will bend back, causing the drywall to fail.
The screws are extremely long and are of good quality. They don't have to be much longer than the closed toggle's length, as shown in the photo. To make them tighter, you'll have to put in some extra effort. Each one has a size for the screw size listed on it. It would be helpful if the size of the hole you need to drill was specified. In a cardboard box, they are delivered. You'll have to look for your own storage space.
They're simple to set up and use. To properly install my shelving brackets, I made sure to thread the bolt through the bracket before attaching the butterfly part. The bolts arrived in a small taped-up box that doesn't do a good job of holding them once opened. In a ziplock bag, I placed all of the pieces. All of the components were present and functioned properly.
I wanted to wait a few months before writing a review because I wanted to make sure my shelves were stable after installing them with these anchors. I have a lot of heavy books on my shelves, and there hasn't been any shelf movement or wall stress.
Although the product is satisfactory, I had hoped to receive a plastic box in exchange for the price in order to keep things organized. Instead, I received a paper box containing all of the items in their original packaging.
