Working on a complete bathroom remodel, with the most recent project being the installation of wooden towel hooks - One of the mollies, of course, turned on me. Since the wall and paint were both new, it irritated me greatly. I tried a few other methods, but none of them worked. Wet and Fix took a few tries to get right (mostly because my mollies were longer than the patch). It worked great once I figured out the problem and used both at the same time. It worked perfectly after a few hours of drying time (I didn't want to rush it).
Everything went according to plan. Wrapping them around the wall anchors can get a little drippy, so protect any fabrics you don't want to get wet. br>br>I've had problems with wall anchors loosening up in our plaster walls for a long time, and these have helped us solve that problem.
Whoever came up with this idea deserves a prize; it's brilliant.
If the anchor hole in my wall had been smaller, this could have worked. I ended up shoving a bunch of wooden skewers covered in wood clue into my mouth. I was able to install the wall anchor after the wood glue had dried.
On smaller anchors, this type of anchor is used. Simply use a regular set of scissors to cut the disks down to size. It worked perfectly.
I was skeptical at first, but it was simple to use and performed admirably. Since the repair, there have been no issues.
Our bathroom towel rack had been knocked off the wall, and this worked perfectly.
Although some of my plaster walls have gotten damaged by lightning bolts, I've found these can fix the problem while also holding up a strong, heavy hook for my large purse and sometimes my laptop bag doesn't wear out after just a few months.
