The damage is not done. This is what I use, and it works fine. I know, but. It turned out I could cut off the ends of these, then put them in the holes on my pegboard. Afterwards, you can mount stuff on it with screws. This is a very useful tool. My pegboard is covered with them. I have mounted a dozen things to it so far. When I went through all the things I wanted to hang on my pegboard, and installed them, I used to hate driving a screw into the "foever hole. " Now I simply go through all the things at once and install The look is great, and if I want to move the item, I just unmount it, and push the blue plastic piece inside (behind) the pegboard.
TIRED.
The screw would slip out of a larger hole with a regular 3/8" bit, but this fixed it right up. The hooks are more than adequate for hanging moderate weights up to 25 pounds.
I would not recommend this anchor as a professional the Hillman Group anchors are much stronger and provide better holding power for a fraction of the cost.
In the event that you do not drill the pilot hole deep enough into the wall, or that you make one too shallow Although this anchor is great with the hammer, it will bend and become useless.
The holes are too small, so I tried a 3/16" hole because I like a tighter fit, but I had to drill a 1/4". Good results were achieved. During the construction of my house, cinderblocks were used and angel bricks were finished. As a result, I used these anchors on the house to install window shutters, and they're better than the ones I had and ran out of earlier.
I am extremely pleased with the quality and the packaging of the anchors I ordered. Despite being low-cost, the material is good. These shelves appear sturdy, which is a stark contrast to the other brand I purchased at a home improvement store, which was brittle and likely to fail over time.
In my experience, I always lose one in the weeds if I don't keep enough of these on hand. It's nice to have a backup. Additionally, I bought stainless steel screws to fit in them, allowing me to use it for a wider range of purposes.
It was only after I returned to Amazon that I found.
