Questions & Answers

Is there a chance I could use these for a wall mount for a television? There are no studs available for this project. ?

In case you already have studs, but they are not where you'd like to hang the TV, follow these steps Then, mount the TV to the 1 x 4 with regular screws. Mount the TV to the 1 x 4 using a 1 x 4 as a support. To illustrate, let's say you have studs every 16 inches, so if you needed a 36" piece of 1 x 4, you would mount it to three studs, each of which is 16 inches After the TV is mounted on the 1 x 4, you can move on to the next step.

A 6' dry erase board that has two mounting brackets weighs about 30 pounds and needs to be hung in a hallway Weight 50 lbs. Can you tell me the weight rating for this item?

Weight is 50 pounds per person. Then you should be able to reach 100 lbs. Those anchors are great!

The curtain hooks are pulling out of the wall as the screw is being hung. This should work with your ordinary curtain rod bracket, right?

This is perfect for anything that weighs 50 pounds. It should be no more than one sentence. Use a straight drill bit to drill a small hole. It is so easy to drill a hole after you've predrilled it. After the anchor is screwed in, insert the plastic screw. You should always work on just one side at a time If you want your sculpture to be straight, you should use a level. After the curtain rod is in place, hang the curtains. Following that, the metal screw was installed. Whenever you open your curtains, you can be sure that they are being held up by much strength.

What happens at the end of the anchor after you drill it? Should the end of the anchor open up like a mouth? I don't have the opportunity to experience that. ?

The end of the bag is not intended to open. It is firmly anchored in the drywall due to the threads.

Selected User Reviews For Plastic Self Drilling Drywall Anchors with Screws Kit, 100 Pieces All Together, Anchors Made in USA

This is not good quality, and it does not seem to be made in the United States The claim was made
3/5

The self-service option is what I use We use anchors frequently and are unable to live without them. This type of anchor is not suitable for screws because it is unable to accept them. On the left side of the picture you can see these anchors which are solid and do not have the engineered "break" that facilitates screw installation. The anchor head has a noticeably smaller surface area as well. There is a chance that the plastic will break due to its hardness. Moreover, I also bought this batch because they said they were made in the US (which I have found to be generally higher It does not say US made anywhere on the anchors or the box, so I'm not sure that's correct. I bought the screws from an importer. They were returned and I got a refund, so everything was fine. These are okay, but I'd suggest doing a more detailed study before purchasing You can see the reason behind the comparison when you side by side compare.

Items that are essential for the home I'm impressed by their ability to hold such heavy weights
5/5

I will base my review of this item on using drywall anchors as the basis. I would have had to get my drill and bit in the past. The drill bit would be inserted, the hole would be drilled, the markings would be made, and the hole would be filled in. Whenever you drilled a hole in drywall, drywall dust was sure to come out in a mess. My next step would be to bang in the plastic anchor, swap in the screw head bit, and drill the screw into the wall. All of these anchors make everything clearer and easier! My drill bit is used to drill in the anchors. These anchors go right into and create very little drywall dust! They seem to be stronger and more secure than standard anchors as well. In just a few minutes, I was able to put in 10 of these! This is a great kit, and there is no reason why you shouldn't have it at home when you need to hang stuff around the Furthermore, you can un screw them very easily if you need to remove them. *I've already installed about 40 of these throughout my home, and I have not had an issue with any of them breaking or not working yet. Often I would ruin the standard anchors by banging them into the wall a few times. Attached are a few pictures of my project. I use these for cable management and they're great! To create a nice, clean appearance, I screwed down my zip ties with these anchors. As seen in the pictures, the zip ties are secured with anchors. Furthermore, they were used to support the server shelf on the floating server. The total I used for this shelf was 4. The shelf was solidly fastened to the wall and there was almost no movement. The anchors held it without a hitch, even though it weighed about 20 pounds!.

I have had problems with this product as have others who have purchased it
3/5

Like the others who have bought it, I have had problems. I typically buy screw wall anchors from local home improvement stores, but thought I could get it from In my set, there were 7 wall anchors. Out of 7 wall anchors, two were stripped and two I had to reverse the screw to adjust depth and that took out the entire anchor. Don't buy this product. It isn't of good quality.

Its not just the screws that are faulty, it is the way they look and the way they feel
3/5

The anchor will crack once the screw is forced into the anchor due to the amount of force required to force the screw into the anchor. In the case that you attempt to remove the screw only after the anchor has been screwed in half way, it will pull out the anchor completely. shocked by the high ratings given to this product by customers. My own time was very significantly wasted trying to solve this problem over the course of two weekends this past weekend. I ended up throwing the whole box away on Sunday. Now we need to repair a whole lot of large holes throughout several walls. A product like this should never be sold to the public.

This is a very low-quality product
3/5

The first issue is that mounting screws in drywall is difficult. My initial thought was that the screw would be driven into a stud, so I wanted to pre-drill a small hole and secure the screw There were no studs to be found. In addition, as soon as I finally got into drywall, I broke two anchors as soon as I began screwing. A low speed drill finally worked, but I managed to break another piece. (Tried still another low speed drill after thinking I may have just not been strong enough to use it. That left me with an even larger hole in my drywall, which I had to patch up. tried these quite a bit, but it just didn't work out.

It's time to take off the anchors! I absolutely love these! My personal objection to anchors has to do with the fact that they are such a hassle, and I am bound to mess it up in some way or another simply by It is frustrating to drill out holes that aren't large enough or big enough, then having to use a bigger or smaller anchor due to poor drilling skills
5/5

The ease of use of these is amazing. A small hole must be drilled in the wall to know where the anchor goes, and it is not necessary to drill it. All you have to do is put the screw in. Since I have these, I actually use anchors when I should and it takes half the time to do that. If you are not Mr Fix It, or in my case, Mrs Fix It, or hate using anchors because of the hassle, then buy these, you won't.

It is faulty- I would not recommend buying
3/5

It's hard for me to understand why this product has such high ratings. Could there be a problem with the batch I got? In my bedroom, I used them to put up basic shelving. I had a great deal of difficulty screwing the anchor into drywall, a pilot hole was needed. To avoid having to do that, I ordered these! It wasn't evenly flush with the wall when I finally got the anchor in, so that was a bit of a disappointment! There is a second flaw - Nails were difficult and took a lot of effort to screw in by hand. I used a drill to finish the job. It can still be controlled, even with a light pressure Rotate the anchor split until it is snug. Could it be that the Screws are too large to fit What an utter waste of time. This took me 24 minutes, not the ten it should have taken me.

You might break your wall with these and they will ruin your walls
3/5

The picture shows how this is done. These were my first time trying these, so I ignored the bad reviews. It's time to admit that I was wrong. There are two parts to these anchors This drill has a narrower tip that is meant to drill through drywall, and a screw section that should be used to anchor and cut into drywall. drills do not drill into drywall, the narrow tip is hard enough, but not hard enough to drill through the drywall. Even after drilling a pilot hole, I still had to drill a second one. Additionally, I noticed that the Screw Section messed up my drywall completely, for lack of a better term - the sides cut into it and made an even larger hole on the outside and a still too small hole inside- so, it's not even flush with the wall. As soon as the anchor broke, the camera stopped moving The image below shows how this is done. The whole thing was cracked and plastic pieces were inside. I ended up drilling it out and installing a wall anchor from Home Depot, which worked fine. There is nothing wrong with self-help it's just a concept Drilling is a trap in every sense of the word. This is not a good buy- Getting the regular wall anchors will do the trick. It is inevitable that you will drill, and those are far superior to the ones you drill.
