I think these are incredible! For framing out my basement on a foundation poured in place, they worked wonderfully

To assemble, I simply used construction adhesive to mount two inches of insulation board, and then I drilled a three sixteenths inch hole through the furring strips and into the foundation to secure the spring spikes. Hammering the spikes in, as well as the extremely tight grip the 1x3s had on the wall, was one of the best feelings ever. Miracles like this don't happen very often.
