This is a great product! I was able to use the program You need to drill a 1/4" pilot hole first in the wood, and then into the concrete, and then drop the base plates It only takes a couple of swings of the hammer to get the job done

I've done it! In regard to the pilot holes, I drilled them about a 16th larger than recommended so that any debris that didn't get sucked out with my shop vacuum could drop smoothly into the hole.

We used them to install sill plates on concrete walls that were pressure treated. I love how well they work. As with a nail, drill the hole, slide the cap in, and pound it down with a hammer.
