Termination that is ideal for custom cables of 1ga

This works great with 1 ga welding cable for making external UPS battery packs and the cables that run to the outside fireproof battery box. I bought a hammer power crimper for these. Observations The running of a 3 is not easy. It is enough power to run an entire recording studio and emergency lights at a radio station with a 6KW true sine wave UPS. It was exactly the right termination for the 1ga cable.

I like these a lot

They are thick, sturdy, and the sizing is perfect for 2AWG cables. I love how they crimp so nicely without tearing or cracking the copper, and they make great contact and hold very well. My experience with these lugs has been very positive. They are top quality, reliable and perform exceptionally well. This company is highly recommended and gets 5 stars from me.

This makes good use of the larger style ring terminal if you are looking for something similar. Despite not having to clamp them, they fit pretty tight. So far they are working great with no issues. It would be nice if the wire inserts were just slightly larger but they do the job. You get 10 for a pretty good price, they are great to have on hand, and they are good to have on hand.

This thick terminal is well-designed, and I particularly like how the flared end allows two-gauge wires to be inserted into the barrel without having the small wires fold over.
