A hot (black) wire, a neutral (white) wire, and a ground (bare copper or green wire) are all required for the circuit to function properly. If you don't have a neutral wire, this won't work. In the United States, black and white wires are used. Brown and blue are popular colors in some countries.

On April 23, 2021, I paid $13 for this item. It is now $14 as of today (April 26). USB- "The C port does not work; I unplugged everything and let it sit for more than 2 hours; the instructions are terrible," says the user. The LED light turns off when the USB outlets aren't working properly. "On the model with a USB port, there is no LED. br>br>Save time and money by purchasing a Leviton T5635, which includes USB support. Laptops will be charged and PD will be available.
I bought it specifically for the USB C charging port. Because the first one I received was defective, I requested that Amazon send me a replacement. The second one had the same issue with charging things like a go-kart. It's a good phone, but it's not a phone with USB C ports. The other USB port works for the phone, but that defeats the purpose of why I bought it in the first place, so I've returned two of them.
At first, I mistook the USB-C connector for a USB-A connector. The C Port was not functional. It worked fine after I switched the cable. However, it should not be required. Unfortunately, I ordered this about 6 months ago and only recently installed it, so I am unable to return it. It's a huge pain.
again. The USB C plug is still not working. Which is absurd, given that the'replacement' ingot was of a completely different brand! I'm so dissatisfied with everything about this that I'm having to return yet another outlet. 0/10.
Amazon has taken over the position. When the replacement USB C outlet arrived, it was dead. A known good cable was used to test the system. The USB A port is functional, but it is not as important as the USB C port. Because this was a bad batch, Amazon should send it back to the manufacturer and stop selling it.
C's work. I sent a message to the seller, but they didn't respond with an answer.
I had no idea these charged so slowly until I bought them. There are no fast chargers available. Now I must uninstall and return them because they are not what I expected. Very dissatisfying.
It does exactly what it says. It was simple to set up, and now I can plug in my new Apple chargers without having to buy a new plug. I would purchase this item again.
