Questions & Answers
A duplex receptacle-like opening forms the connection opening for all the cables. This product did not meet my customers' expectations and neither did I. Brass plates and screws could just as well be toothpicks, while the screws on the brass plate scratch
Presented in solid brass, the cover is made of high quality.
(I cannot see underneath due to the installation.) It seems to be integrated quite well into the cover. installed these under a conference table with four plugs continuously in use (two power, one phone, and one HDMI), and the covers do not interfere with the installation process. In fact, I would like to thank you Cords can be kept from being pulled unplugged by roping the cords to the covers. Thank you, I hope that helped!

Markings can easily be made on brass. Due to the slotted nature of screws, screwdrivers can easily fall off and leave marks on surfaces. If you live in a high traffic area, I wouldn't recommend it. The Lining - It is very tricky to screw in the four screws through the brass top plate, rubber gasket, two foam spacers, a metal spacer, the outlet bracket, and into the threaded electrical box tang, so screwdriver slippage is almost inevitable. The installation process requires the use of masking tape. Also, due to the recessing of electrical outlets below the floor surface, this is a difficult installation task. For creating the shelf almost 1/2" deep into hardwood, you will need a router or wood chisel. It would have been more reasonable for the flaps to have spring loaded hinges given the price. There is no such thing. The machines rely on gravity to stay in position when they are not in use.
The cover was enough for me to purchase the book. There is a lot of weight to it. There is only a minor problem with tightening the screws this compresses the rubber gasket and causes the covers to stick up a bit. We also purchased the other version with crew hole covers (for another floor outlet) because it worked more efficiently.
Purchasing this floor box was for an area in my family room where we have a need for a power outlet, HDMI, and ethernet connection. The model with an antique nickel finish is in plain sight, so I chose the one that would match the other hardware in the room. I fear that the biggest problem will be the cover. An assembly that had been loosely put together was wrapped in plastic and fitted into a box with tight fitting lips. The cover's finish will not be protected with an additional layer of protection. Since there was a sandwich of cardboard and plastic against the cover, the unit was randomly polished while it was being shipped - This is where. There are a few bright spots on my brushed nickel finish. In the dark against the flooring, it makes a real eyesore.
The following advantages I will. - As it is heavy duty and divided, it is pleasing to the code official. I will. - A sturdy cover and good fit for the ports are the hallmarks of the construction. I will. - Gaskets were provided in good condition. I will. - This is a roomy box, so wiring can be tucked in easily. The disadvantages are I will. - Leaving the finish blemished is the result of insufficient packaging. I will. - Because knockouts are all the same size, it is impossible to use a pre-set I terminated my cables like an HDMI without any changes (I did have to expand a little In order to simplify installation, it would be beneficial to have at least one concentric knockout on the datacomm side. I will. - There was no response from customer service.
In general, it is probably the cheapest option. You can use a floor package that is already out there and will work with some modification if you have to use prefabricated With HDMI as the largest cable that fits in this box and through a Duplex Keystone, you should be able to work with this box. There is a lack of packaging on this product. It would have been normal to have the cover finish protected by peel-off film Unlike other brands I have installed, this one does not peel off. I learned a lesson as a result of saving a few dollars rather than purchasing a Hubbel. In my opinion, the best option is to try to contact the metal polishing shop a few towns over to see if they can "repolish" It would be better if Top Greener would give the finish a similar look to the rest of the finish so that it doesn't look so bad. My surprise came when the company sent me an email to see if I was satisfied, and I responded with my issue via the email in question. The email inquiry did not get replied to, and a few weeks later, I received the same question! My guess would be that it's When I tried calling customer service, I was directed to the toll-free number There is no number and nothing to do. In addition to sales from Amazon, I have purchased more than 100 items from Amazon Prior to this, I have just sent an email or called the company with questions or had problems regarding the products I received. This was not the case this time. Therefore, I am providing my real feelings and details of my problem. In addition, I am attaching photos taken when it was still in its packaging soon after.
I expected the product to be what it is. Though, while hand tightening with the least amount of force, two of the four outlet screws snapped off during installation.
The design aspect of how the data ports interlock with the brass top plate has some shortcomings. This data outlet has a rectangular faceplate and round data outlet. It does not sit completely flush when it is A better designed device would be more fitting for $80. There appears to be a lack of consideration for the data parts.
what it is supposed to do.
They became easily scratched and hard to open after a month, so my customer just had me remove them.
This was a very high quality electrical box, worth every penny! After I installed in the middle of their great room, my customer was very impressed!.
