This outlet has a capacity of 15 amps and 125 volts.
The original size of the post was 2" The kit includes one piece. You can divide them into two parts. Until I bought it about two years ago, there was nothing else included. This is the upper part of the kit for behind the television. View a product's home page and scroll down until you see the "commonly bought If you do that, you can probably put together the original kit.
One of the ones I received in 4/2017 had a single plug (tho the picture showed a duplex plug). A very disappointing experience.
The instructions do mention three mounting methods and the old-fashioned one is given to you at the end If the drywall ears don't work for your wall, you may have to replace them. It will always work to tighten the screws on the back.

As far as I can tell, this box met my needs perfectly. I need a low profile TV mount for my 65" TV with maybe an inch of space behind it. There is just a few inches of concrete block I cut out a small hole in the box, which fit perfectly and sat snugly in it. The standard electrical outlet could not be placed in the outward facing position. In the box shown here, the outlet is recessed and parallel with the wall, so that the power cable can be plugged in without putting too much pressure on the wall. As a replacement for the packaged outlet, I bought a Surge Protected Outlet for an extra $20. In addition to the surge protection, it should help keep the TV safe from power surges. I found the installation to be very simple. In reality, the box is wide, but as long as it's installed in the right place, no matter what size TV you have it will cover. A large cable box power adapter was plugged into the extra space by using an extension cord. The extension cord was used to store the extra length of the extension cord. In direct connection, there would have been no access to both electrical outlets.

I have just received an update After ordering a replacement, I received it the next day, and it is perfect! It fits in just right below the furring strips in my concrete block wall (1/2" drywall over 1" furring strips). I was able to install it in a few minutes and it looks fantastic! It is a highly recommend product if you intend to mount your TV to an external wall or share a wall with someone else. I received the product as hoped, and it is exactly what I was looking for. In the event that the box I received had been opened, I was able to see that the tape used to seal the product packaging had been peeled back then reapplied Affixing the box to the wall. I can clearly see that it was My disappointment was heightened when I noticed that the front trim piece was missing when I opened the box. In the absence of that part, the product is useless. Actually, it is the glue that holds it to the front of the plasterboard. As soon as I receive the full product, I will update my review.
I like it! The design of this box is very appealing to me. I've been installing AV boxes behind TVs for a while and have tried a lot of brands and styles and I think this one is probably my favorite. I really like the design, and how flush it is. you're working on a television above a fireplace area that is dry walled, there's a good chance it has been furred out with 2X2, which makes installing regular boxes difficult or impossible. This is the must-have Also worth noting is the design of the outlet box. Making it easy to install, they took care of how everything goes together. Even if you don't need a shallow box, these boxes are good for standard wall installs. The best part is that it's not ridiculously.
It was straight forward to install however the front plate was included with You have to mount the faceplate first because when the screws are tightened the brackets squeeze the back against the drywall however, you have to tighten the screws first, as the brackets squeeze the faceplate from the back. If you ever need to remove the front plate to paint or for any other reason, you are essentially removing the entire object.
Screws that are cheap. There are marks on both the TV box cover and the box itself because they have been unsealed and unsecured. In the process of shipping, the bacteria likely acquired each other's agents. The screw that was supposed to hold the outlet into the box snapped in half when it was inserted (it was not over-tightened). There's no way to remove it so there's no way I can use that hole to fully secure the outlet. The only thing I would change if I could is to use my own screws. The rest of the system operates normally.
I used this on the outside of the wall so that I did not have to compress the insulation inside. The screws came with two different sizes that I didn't notice at first, but once everything was installed it fit perfectly. Due to a power supply issue I came with, my cable box came with a large wall wart. To plug in, I had to use an extension cord, but everything fit between the wall and television.
The fit and finish were poor. The outlet that keeps the plastic piece in place is trimmed and has to be cut to fit in the box. I did not have a problem with the outlet but with pieces that did not fit well. Aside from that, it was a real hassle to get the cover over the wall-inset. Although it was very difficult to install, it went well once it was installed because the mounting holes did not line up with the recessed lugs. Once it was mounted, it was perfectly fine, but it was much more work than it needed to be. There was poor craftsmanship in this project. I would call it a Hugo if this were a car.
