Its 8 copper conductors permit it to be used for 10Base-T, 100BASE-TX(Fast Ethernet), 1000 Base-T/1000 Base Tx(Gigabit Ethernet) and 10G Base T (10-gigabit PVC jackets for all cables are TIA/EIA 568-C compliant. RoHS compliant, and complies with standards.

A Cat 6 ethernet patch cable that possesses eight solid copper conductors of 24 AWG is supplied with 25 feet of cable. four unshielded twisted pairs (UTP) is separated by a polyethylene cross insulation to ensure that both pairs remain isolated and crosstalk is locked out, and is then covered by a polyethylene shield. With RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, this cable is covered in an 8mm PVC jacket. Cables will not be damaged by snags caused by molded strain relief boots. Flexibility and resistance to wear and tear are key properties of these products.

In order to achieve the best speeds, I had to make sure I had the best internet connection

Although my router was hindering my upload speed, I needed to ensure I was getting as much bandwidth as possible. Connecting the cable directly to the FIOS modem gets me higher speeds but not by much as compared to using a cat5e. great, thanks, I just wanted to make sure I had configured my network in the best possible way.

This is an excellent cat- With longer runs, it becomes increasingly difficult to avoid resistance, capacitance and inductance from affecting the digital signal

The shielding minimizes those effects in this higher quality cable. In reality, there are other factors (like if the cable passes through conduit or next to an electric field) that can impact the signal-to-noise ratio (such as if the cable is or is not running through conduit or next to electrical I would like to make a comment that this is an amazing high-quality video The cable is double shielded and has high speed. In the past, we had cat 5e wire installed in that run and our internet ran at no more than 94 Mbps on the fastest Due to this single change, that now amounts to You shouldn't miss out on this. However, keep in mind the other parts of your internet will have to be able to handle the faster speeds as well, but in our case, both the cable modem and the router are capable of speeding up to much higher There were only cables (and our incoming speed) that were holding us back.
