An electric grill that I own made by George Foreman no longer works It was determined that the existing thermal fuse caused the failure after opening the unit up and troubleshooting it. However, it did not appear to have overheated or that anything must have gone wrong with the grill, but this type of fuse often fails as they age-- As soon as I opened the door, the thermostat was working fine. So I felt safe replacing it. A rice cooker I had a few years ago had the same kind of failure, though it was a different size fuse.
Even though the old fuse was not clearly marked, it was for 240C, and the grill used 15A at 110V (1650 Watts) A new fuse with a voltage rating of 240V and a current rating of 10A is now available. As voltage goes down, the rating is in fact not linear, but it's close enough that it should work when the current is higher at lower voltage, and so Fortunately, the grill is back to using it regularly in the kitchen, which indicates the fuse is working as it should.
What I needed to fix my Waring waffle maker. When it stopped working in the middle of a cycle, we were puzzled. It's not viable for me to justify spending several hundred dollars on a new one because this one was only a few years old and lightly used when it quit By taking a gamble, I was able to fix it for just a few dollars and I even now have three backups In addition to being satisfied with what my kids are doing, the waffle maker now has a greater understanding of how it works.
Applied it to a waffle iron and it worked. Exactly what I needed. You should remember to put your new order in the same direction that you took it Be sure to fix what ended up going wrong or you'll have to do it all over.
A failure of the thermal fuse in our Panini maker was solved with the use of this thermal fuse. As expected, the Panini maker is back on line after being down for several days.
My Cuisinart(?) machine was a bit pricey, so I figured it would be worth a couple of bucks to repair it. There are two types of waffle makers manual and automatic. It is easy to fix all you have to do is turn everything over, find the thermal fuse, and replace it. Not hard at all.
They repaired a blown fuse on a Fridgidair toaster oven for an affordable price, 3 out of 4 of them were fixed.
The quality of the service was excellent.
