Product Description

Contact Water/Liquid Level Sensor, This is a photoelectric water/liquid level sensor that uses optical principles to operate. Open collector output mode, which can be used to connect a variety of circuits and products.
The sensor has no mechanical parts, doesn't need to be adjusted, and has a high sensitivity, low power consumption, corrosion resistance, high pressure resistance, high temperature resistance, and chemical stability.
This sensor probe is small in size and has a structure that allows it to detect solution spillage, dryness, and horizontal level in multiple orientations. It has the ability to function as a reminder and an alarm.
A DIP switch is included with the sensor. The signal terminal's output voltage (high level) is controlled by the DIP switch. The high level is 5V when the DIP switch is set to that value. The high level is 3 when the DIP switch is set to 3V. 3V.
Compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi motherboards for use in automatic irrigation systems, aquariums, plants, the garden, and agriculture, among other things.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to mount this to the lid of a bucket and use it to monitor the water level inside as it drops? or is it more of a liquid-detecting contact switch?

A liquid contact switch is all it is.

Is it possible to buy just the 3-in-1 board? Is it possible to find a wire connector?

How far apart do the two mounting holes have to be? Is it better to mount from the center of the circle or from the mounting circle's edge? Please accept my sincere gratitude?

Short Cable works perfectly

For my setup, this is ideal. This is being used as a minimum water level sensor in conjunction with a maximum water level sensor. If the minimum sensor is triggered, the water will turn on until it reaches the maximum setting. The cable's only disadvantage is its length. It's a quick read. I'll have to make an extender at some point because it's so short. However, it performs admirably as advertised.

pi ATO. The item was bought to keep track of the water level in a saltwater aquarium. I decided to follow the reef. This sensor was instantly recognized and worked flawlessly after following the pi tutorial. This sensor is not waterproof! br>br>It is important to note that this sensor is not waterproof! It has two sides, one wet and one dry, so use caution when installing it. br>br>The vendor is extremely responsive and stands behind their product; I will be purchasing more from them in the future.
