These are a great replacement for Ge transistors that have tin whiskers inside of Normally, I use these NTE Ge transistors to replace tin whisker shorted out OC170/AF126 transistors in vintage transistor audio equipment and they work just fine

Due to the packaging variation, I had to move the pins around a bit to make them fit into the sockets for this equipment since the transistors are in sockets. However, it still fits. Considering these are either new or unused nos transistors and are still worth the price, I can see no down side to buying them. They should work with OC170/AF117/AF126 transistors and maybe others, but not 100% 100% certain.

This record player was used for KLH Model twenty records. The product worked as a direct replacement for the previous part without any It's a great product. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
