The fact that it arrived quickly is a plus! This is a fantastic little kit, and I just received it (5-stars). 2020). I spent the better part of the day sorting them with my magnification headband because five of the dividers in the storage container were not seated when I received them and were sitting flat on top of the components, allowing different values to mix. (Wow, that was a lot of fun. ) I didn't give it a lower rating because of it - It did occur, but not on the day I had planned. br>br>Overall, it's a nice little selection of transistors at a reasonable price; I haven't had a chance to test any yet, but I'll be using quite a few in the near future. The only thing that could have made it better was if the label had E B C (for Emitter, Collector, Base) on or to the right of the legs, which would have made it a lot easier to use. Some of the ones I use frequently are ones I'm already familiar with, like 2N5551, which stands for E B C - But I can remember a time when I didn't know offhand! It's not a big deal; I'll label those with a blue finepoint sharpie myself. Regardless, thank you for a fantastic product!.
The transistors were packaged in a plastic box with small compartments for each transistor. It is possible to close and lock the top. The collection is ideal for a one-time evaluation circuit or whatever your needs may be. The variety allows you to try out different values before investing in 100 of a particular value, such as a 3906, which may or may not perform as expected. br> I scotch taped a 2*4" note of transistor specifications to the inside cover of the book. I was able to see the fundamental value of each transistor right away. br> One word of caution: BE CAREFUL when opening the lid so that the transistors do not fall out and cause a mess. br> This is a nice little collection that is exactly what it says it is. I checked a few of the transistors and found them to be in good working order. Most of the others are probably in the same boat.
This is an excellent selection of NPN and PNP transistors. These are ideal for a wide range of electronic projects. They're all in great shape and haven't been harmed in any way. I haven't gotten around to using them all yet. I put a few from each category to the test and found them to be in good working order.
The case is a great way to keep them and it fits the need!.
So far, I've used approximately 6 of these in various circuits. The results have exceeded my expectations. They appear to be within specification for forward dropping values, which is a good product.

This kit appeals to me because it includes all of the transistors I require, with the exception of one that is critical. The bc547 was the code. These transistors are used in led chasers and flashing led lights that I make for my speakers. Overall, this is a fantastic product that was also reasonably priced.
