This is a DIP8 2 chip that is standard. ICs with a pitch of 54mm - which can be plugged into any standard breadboard, perf board, or DIP IC socket.
Yes. The current consumption of the CMOS version is extremely low. Leakage currents at the threshold and trigger are also lower. The frequency response is a bit of a mystery. I recommend comparing the datasheets of the original and CMOS versions.

These were purchased in order to create a frequency generator for 1. 7 mega hertz is a unit of measurement for the number of mega hertz in For these, I believe the maximum frequency range is between 5 and 600 kilo hertz. However, they are effective for low frequencies.
Learning how to use these was a lot of fun for me. With it, I was able to fix yet another project that was malfunctioning. It was of excellent quality and came in a protective tube to protect it from damage.
If you've ever played around with electronics, you'll know what I'm talking about. This chip deserves to be commemorated with a statue. Everything arrived as expected, and all of the chips performed as expected according to the data sheet.
Everything appears to be in good working order. I ran two tests out of ten and got the expected results - I expect the other eight to be fine as well, but I'll update this review if that isn't the case.
What else can I say about these fantastically versatile chips? I adore the 555s.
I've used three of them so far and they've all worked out perfectly.
This 555 worked as a direct replacement for a 20-year-old 555 that had died in one of my circuits.
