Questions & Answers

Do you have BF117 on your computer?

Please accept our apologies for not having done so.

Is the fuse wrapped in a cable or does it come unwrapped?

The fuse is all.

What is the approximate number of them in the bag? It's described as a 5-piece set, but the image shows far more than that?

They are usually sold in 5-packs, but you can order more. I believe the number is ten. You can also get a total of 25 packs.

287 degrees Fahrenheit at 142 degrees Fahrenheit My Dehydrator heats up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit at 6 degrees Fahrenheit
5/5

In a Food Dehydrator that was around 5 years old, replace the 142°C thermal fuse. On the unit's heater board, I uncrimped the butt connectors and crimped them back in place. However, I soldered the crimps as well. You can solder these as long as you use double alligator clips for heat dissipation and ice cubes to cool the thermal fuse. This keeps it cool so you can solder with 60/40 solder, which melts at 190°C/374°F. If your dehydrator gets hotter than that, you've got bigger problems than solder melting. br>br>The first photo shows an old thermal fuse that blew. br>The second photo shows a new crimped and soldered thermal fuse. It is essential to use heat sinks.

My NESCO dehydrator was a cinch to use
5/5

These were purchased to replace a thermal fuse in a NESCO FD-100. Dehydrator with a capacity of 75 watts. I cut out the old one and soldered in the new one (with the help of an ice cube to keep the thermal fuse cool while soldering). This enabled the dehydrator to function properly.

Thermal fuses' leads are too short, and they're expensive, but I needed the part

It should be noted that it works on both 110V and 220V in the United States
5/5

Replaced a bad thermal fuse (continuous was open) for the Dehydrate product; it now works fine; do not solder, as heat will blow up the fuse.
