Questions & Answers

Would it be better to wire this up backward if the noise I'm trying to filter is coming from my load?

As a rule, I recommend that you do not reverse the wiring, that is, you should connect it how it was intended There should be no difference in how it suppresses electrical noise directional and directional. In light of the above, if you suspect that a piece of electrical equipment is causing noise that is being picked up by other equipment, the signals may not be connected via the power line. By contrast, this would not help if it were transmitted through the air to the power cables of the other equipment, because the power cables would be in direct contact with it. Rather than putting it on the equipment picking up the noise, you may need to do it on the equipment itself!

In pinball and arcade machines, I use them when I rework old power supplies. A good value for the money I like the way it works.
