This is not a filter easy to install unless you replace the existing cord on the radio with it and a computer IEC cable. This is a power entry module for a device it will not replace an existing cord. It needs to be installed by an electrician if the radio can even accommodate it. There are 10 amps in this power supply. The switch failed after just a few cycles when I was trying to switch 4A. What's worst is that the power goes out while it's on. However, it is still on when you think you've turned it off. This is a big issue.
Making a 3D printer out of this. This inlet works great and does not have any wiring issues, which a number of other inlets do, and it is actually rated for 10A (which others are claiming).
I like this approach because, with my custom enclosure having lots of noise-producing components (VFD, power supplies, etc. ), I do not have to try and identify where the noise originates and eliminate it.
It comes with safety features and enclosed "innards" so you never have to worry about zapping accidentally.
It did what it was advertised to do. Best wishes and thank you for your service to.
Finished wiring it up and took a look at everything with a multimeter. The switch won't shut off even though I'm not even finished with my project. It does not matter if the power is I or O because power still flows.
