I tried it to identify a short in my 2001 Suburban and it seemed to work

As the battery drained overnight, no power would be available. As far as the battery was concerned, I installed a disconnect switch on it to prevent it from draining, but it was a hassle to put in Having to reconnect it every time I used the vehicle and the clock being out, I had to remember to do so. I watched a YouTube video on how to find the circuit, so I searched for the offer doing it. According to it, it is necessary to use a multimeter and a 10 watt 1 ohm resistor to monitor the battery draw. Plugging my multimeter into one of them and pulling fuse after fuse, I used this tool. The problem has been found. Because I am not an electrical engineer, electrician, or mechanic, I do not know why this would be needed, but it did what was asked of it.
