Questions & Answers

In an aftermarket pioneer radio I am installing in a 2007 Ford Taurus SE, the manual indicates a 10k ohm resistor must be used, but the wattage was not specified. What are the chances of this working?

To what purpose does the resistor serve? The power of these bulbs is very low. I can do the math, but let's think about it. If you are using a nominal voltage of 12 volts from your car battery, you are doing something. In the case of connecting a 10K resistor to the positive battery terminal directly and ground, Ohm's Law stated that current is equal to voltage divided by resistance, so A power supply of 0012 amps is needed. There is not a lot of current information. The resistance is supposed to dissipate power, so how much does it When voltage and current are added, power equals 12 *. The number 0012 is equal to The total power is 0144 W. You should be able to do that easily using a 1/4 watt resistor. It is only by lowering voltage that this situation is improved. Thank you for reading. I hope you find it helpful.

Do I need this size to make a test light for automotive use as well as to install leds in ?

It isn't the right size for that to be 10k. You can find a calculator that will help you determine what size of led resistor you need by searching for "led resistor calculator".

How about an old Crystal Radio Project? I don't need it, but it is suggested I use a 10k ohm resistor instead. ?

In addition to the 10k ohm resistor, it won't hurt to add one as well

For the vast majority of designs, this will be sufficient
5/5

I am okay with the 5% 1/4 watt resistor. There were an average of 3 resistance errors. It is 9. 9%. For the vast majority of designs, this will be sufficient. As a rule of thumb, I always use 1% resistors if the tolerance has to be.

There is no way for me to flow current no matter what I do! Good product, folks! Their intended purpose is served by them.

I've tested it on 2jz and it works well A horrible egr system is installed on the GE. We saw a slight drop in intake temperatures and idle.

This is a good place to buy resistors if you are looking for them cheaply and quickly
5/5

In terms of quality, I have only used a few of their products, and no problems have been encountered, so I would consider buying from them in the future if I ever run out.
