It's a great resistor-a precision 25 ohm, 50 watt resistor, featured in a low profile aluminum housing-that you can use as a charging resistor for a doorbell or any other equipment.

In a few minutes you can install the product - it comes with 2 cables out of the cage, you connect the wire to your equipment using our connector, mount the product with the bracket and you're ready to go.

A SMALL SIZE product consists of a L3 dimension. A 55xW1 matrix. Two times T0. The length is 79 inches and the weight is About 1 lb.

HOUSING - Uses aluminum material to construction, durable, corrosion resistant, good in heat, cold, and cold resistance.

This is a RoHS compliant device, and the aluminum case is great for dissipating thermal energy out of the device.

Questions & Answers

The transformer needs to be attached to this device. Unfortunately, I cannot find ours. Can it be combined with the doorbell chime in the house?

I am not familiar with the doorbell you are using, so you should inquire with the seller of the doorbell if a 25ohm 50watt wirewound resistor is required. If it is, you should order our resistor kit for installation.

It works for Ring pro, right?

After six months it worked for a short period of time, but we removed it and switched to the pro power kit included in the ring pro. When buying the transformer, be sure to buy more than 16v so that you can directly attach the kit to it. A total of 16 people attended

It is possible to wire this on a transformer rather than directly on Transformer wires are out of sight due to a cover. ?

A resistor is necessary when you remove the old doorbell chime from the circuit, if I recall. By replacing the chime resistance with a resistor, the voltage across the Ring Doorbell can be controlled. If it is connected in series with the doorbell, then it can be placed anywhere in the wiring. If you put the resistor lead on one side of the transformer, and the other lead on the wire that goes to one lead on the doorbell, then it is obviously ok to put the resistor lead on one side. I had a plastic casing around a resistor melt in my application. If you're going to use this resistor inside a plastic box, I wouldn't recommend it.

It does what it's supposed to do. Located on the back, has a bracket to secure it in place so it doesn't move when in use. I am pleased with this purchase.
