Questions & Answers

From which country does the person originate?

The Fur- It is a product made by Rite Brand (the manufacturer) Among the 43 manufactured in China are the following.

What do you do with these, hang them from the wire or not? Wrapping the wire is mentioned, but do you have to loop it in and out of the ring as you wrap it?

I believe you run the device as many times as it can through and outside the ring.

What is the power rating of a balun made from an FT140 Do you have a problem with 43?

Power output depends on two factors the permeability of the material and the strength of the magnetic field produced by your coil. In case of exceeding the maximum power, you will not damage the unit, but you will suffer losses because the ferrite material is saturate and cannot withstand an extra Currently I am using just one FT140-based IR blaster In the case of a 49, 43 is the result I use a single UNUN (16 gauge wire) for portable field operations, running at 10 watts max, and it works quite well for my purposes. My calculations indicate that it can handle up to 37 people. You may operate with either 5 watts in CW or 60 watts in The FT140 can be stacked to get more power if you need Using the 43s, you would be able to double the power, i.e. There are 120 watts of SSB power and 75 watts of CW power. You might want to use an FT240-based transmitter if you are looking for higher power It is a 43 or a 240- The number of cores is 52.

Is it possible to use this for long-wire unun baluns? It has been suggested on some sites This question is based on 130. ?

Yes, I am. As a choke between my elevated radials and earth ground, I wrapped my antenna wire with #12 for maximum gain. The strength of my signal has improved significantly.

This is the trick I wanted to use for wrapping torrids before winding with enameled wire
5/5

It's just what I've been thinking of using for a tapped coil I'm building. The vinyl electrical tape would be a great way to protect the enameled magnet wire before winding it on the board. It was my fault that I didn't have any. However, it's always a necessity that leads to the invention of something new, so I thought I'd share my latest discovery. There's a sticky bandage wrap I have here, which you can find in drug stores and similar places. It sticks to itself, but not to In order to stretch the piece inside the torrid from each side, I cut a piece that was wide enough to overlap each other, and long enough to go around the outside of the torrid at least twice, more by the time it is In the picture, the strip at the bottom is what I trimmed off from the width. I then used more material than you see. First stretch the bandage around the torrid and then force the long edge into the torrid. Then stretch and force the other side of the bandage over the bandage. You don't have to worry about it sticking to your hands, it doesn't wrinkle, and it doesn't stick to your fingers like electrical tape.

You have some nice TOROS! A long track record of superior performance is a testament to the quality of these toroids
5/5

A multi-channel toroid was created by combining two of these toroids For EFHW antennas, tap the impedance transformer. The image shows what it looks like. We're at 73 K!.

I believed it would work, and it did
5/5

Since this is my first experience with an UNN After applying 1 matching transformer), I can say I received.

In the description, it appears that the toroid is bigger than it actually is
3/5

It is important to describe the picture in detail so that the measurements are clear. I think there are too many ads and other items from Amazon on the screen to try and get you to buy more, and it's very distracting and the picture appears as a large toroid when viewed from the side. However, I will need to order a new one as I will only use it for a smaller project.
