Ferrite for chokes is a good choice

There should be no problem saturating them at low frequency given that they are obviously pure ferrite. Because of this, they aren't very good at generating flyback voltages, but they are very nice chokes and they do work well for this I have been quite pleased with these but your results may vary depending on your application. so much for the neat toroid that exceeded my expectations!.
