There are 2 numbers seperated by a dash in the name of a Toroid core. A T200-style weapon would be effective 200/2 is the combination of both of these numbers. It is an FT240-based device The number 43 has the numbers 240-247 You can calculate the outside diameter of a circle by dividing that number by 100. This results in a diameter of 2 inches. There are two 240s in a row. The diameter is approximately 4 inches. A second number gives you the mix of metals that goes into creating a toroid. I'm not sure how they decide which materials fit with the Toroid, but each has a band of frequencies that it works well with. An FT75 for FT075 would have a 3/4 inch diameter, neither of which appears to exist click the images for a larger view. It is awfully thin for something to be 1/8" thick. It is typical for the thickness of a Toroid to be related to its diameter and power capacity. It seems I don't know of any thin but I might be mistaken.

To build a 4 out of it, I bought it Transformer for using a portable vertical HF antenna with multiple band capabilities. I have no problem with it. The result of my build was I have 1 unun and it works well. The wire is wound with 16 gauge solid wire to carry 700 Watts of PEP through it.
There is a lot of paint on the wall. Rather than taping the wire to the core, I wound it directly onto I ordered a second one after having so much fun with the first. A5LYT

The item is of high quality. My price for them over the years is a little high for what I pay for them.
There was no way I was going to fall in love with it. It was the one I really needed, but I didn't realize it at the time. The product looks good. I would buy another one if it was available.
