It's a bright white light that spreads out over a large area.

What is the approximate number of lumans?

I've looked all over the box and can't find anything. What I can tell you is that it shines brightly - I have one on my shed for a security light, and it illuminates the entire shed and driveway, all the way up to my house (150 feet).

I got two bulbs for the price of one at a local big box store

On my street, there isn't a single street light. My yard light, which is mounted on the gable end of the garage, illuminates our driveway as well as about two houses on either side of the street. When the old lamp burned out, I bought two to ensure that if the bulb burns out again, I can quickly replace it. One of the neighbors remarked on how nice it was to see the street lit up and safe once more.
