Historically the mercury vapor lamp has been used for white light bulbs for very long. A group in the mid 1960s, they have been around for a long time. My 175 watt mercury vapor pole light has long since been replaced with a 70 watt high pressure sodium light a decade ago. In comparison with the incandescent bulb, a sodium bulb produces more light with a deeper color. The operation of this machine is cheaper as well.
6,000 lumens would appear to be the brightness.
The socket is set to traditional light bulbs, so I let it wait for the shipment for a couple of hours before switching to it. I was able to complete the task. Sorry about that! A ballast is something I am unfamiliar with.

Got the bulb before it was supposed to arrive. It was adequately packaged by Luxrite, but was not packaged very securely by Amazon. Unlike the name brand bulb it replaced, the bulb installed easily and resembled the design of the one As far as the bulb's construction goes, it seems to be the same. As far as brightness is concerned, it seems to be the same. The item I purchased has so far been satisfactory to me. Bulb prices for Luxrite bulbs are much less expensive than those for other brands online or in store. Now, all that's left is to see how long it will last. It will be interesting to see. Hopefully there won't be any problems with this post, but if there are I'll repost.
remember it was going on and off in the middle of the night, and I thought the fixture or the circuit was the problem. However, it turned out to be as simple as replacing the lightbulb. To ensure that your bulb is the same voltage, you need to replace it.
The Zenith's sodium light that I purchased at Home Depot is compatible with this fixture. It is designated by the model number My bulb is still working well after using it for more than a year. The bulb is fantastic.
Several of the bulbs in our garage light were beginning to fail. 10 years had passed since it was put into service. When I checked with Home Depot, all their sodium vapor lights cost $25, and all of them were In addition to Philips, I also used a Philips bulb for the replacement. I find this bulb to be very bright and works perfectly. I can't say for certain if the new bulb will hold up as long as the old one.
The project lasted less than two As expected, and similar to other reviews, the bulb performed well. The label claims the wine will last a lifetime, but this is a lie. (Says the average is 24000 hours Well, I just bought mine 23 months ago, Most likely, it runs for no more than 10 hours a day. Hence, only about a third of the longevity stated
Just a little tidbit.
In addition to some miscellaneous household items, I bought this bulb a few years ago so that I had it with me when my security light bulb stopped working. About six weeks ago, I installed this one, and now it is completely burnt I am unable to cope with around 300 hours of life at 8 hours per night. Quite a bit of power is put out and it can also be controlled A color of light that it emits while it is operating.
The replacement could not be found at the store where the item was I have used this bulb as an alternative to the original and it has worked.
I believe that this vendor may be a bait and switch and sells bulbs that are not of good quality. Maybe down in Jacksonville Florida, "sound like" brands are good enough, but in my opinion, this appears to be an improper marketing tactic. You should not rate a product high if it has positive reviews or unless you are someone who loves "sounds like brand". In contrast to Luxrite, Plusrite does not contain Aluminium.
