Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use a GU24 bulb instead of a GU35 bulb in a Maxlite?

The GU35 has a different base than the GU35. It all depends on the appearance of your home and whether or not it will fit. In order for the GU24 to fit in a panasonic vent fan, I had to unclip the sides of the small box that housed the bulb. Despite a gap in the plastic housing box, it appears to function properly. After it's all reassembled, you won't be able to see it. It's a better deal than paying $40 or $50 for an 11-dollar bulb.

Do these bulbs work in panasonic bath fans that use the mls13gu35 bulb?

Panasonic bathroom fans with MLS13GU35 bulbs were replaced with these.

We bought these bulbs, but they only last about 6 months; is this a defect? Why do I have to keep ordering bulbs that don't last?

I've had mine in the bathroom fan for over six months with no issues.

Will the MLS13GUWW 13 watt 2700gu24 bulb be able to take the place of the MLS13GU2700KmA 13 watt bulb?

The replacement's form factor is something I'm not sure about. You appear to be using a GU24 bayonet connection bulb with a similar wattage (13W) and color (2700K). I'd double-check with the manufacturer (maxlite.com). In my case, the form factor available on Amazon did not match the part number. Good luck with your endeavors.

After two years of failure, the project was abandoned
3/5

Maxlite will not honor any warranties. It's all in the title. They will not replace a light bulb that is stamped with their name and comes in a box with a three-year warranty. "MaxLite manufactures that bulb exclusively for exhaust fan manufacturers," they claim, "so we don't have any bulbs to replace for you. " It is not my responsibility to comprehend their business model, and I do not see how this relieves them of their warranty obligations. I'll talk to the BBB about it.

One was broken when it arrived, but we were able to get a replacement quickly
5/5

The tapered base on these Maxlite CFLs allows them to fit into my Panasonic bathroom exhaust fan. I've seen other GU24 base fixtures with cylinder-shaped bases that don't fit. br>br>At the time of delivery, one of the two I ordered was broken. I'll change my rating to a five star once I get a replacement. br>br>Fast and friendly customer service received and processed the replacement.

Life Expectancy Only 1 1/2 Months is not something you should buy
3/5

These light bulbs were purchased for my laundry room, which is rarely used, and TWO of them have already burned out after only a month and a half of use! I'm not going to buy anything else in the future.

This is precisely what I'm looking for

For my shower fan light, I needed to replace the bulbs. Bulbs that meet the required specifications and have an angled base are not readily available at local hardware stores. I installed a set of two bulbs, and they fit and functioned perfectly; I wasn't thrilled with the brightness or slightly yellow color, but that didn't stop me from purchasing a backup set.

The product has been discontinued, and a replacement is not acceptable
3/5

I received a bulb that was not the same as the one I ordered, along with a letter explaining that the manufacturer no longer sold that bulb, but that the one I received was equivalent and better. It was not the case. It had a dark blue hue to it. White is an acceptable color for a shop or garage, but not for a home. I gave it back to you. The market for this type of bulb is shrinking, as many people are switching to screw-in bulbs. format- an LED bulb, as well as adapters That's exactly what I'm up to.

Unfortunately (as far as I'm aware, these light bulbs last an eternity) Unfortunately, because the sensor on one of the exterior matching light fixtures burned out (as I am aware, these light bulbs last FOREVER), the light itself stopped working! I replaced both light fixtures with steady burn (no dusk/dawn sensor) and regular sockets that accept LED light bulbs with medium bases that screw in (electrician said the sensor would have cost as much as a new fixture), and I replaced them with regular sockets that accept LED light bulbs with medium bases that screw in (electrician said the sensor would have cost as much as a new fixture)

I've got four of these pin blubs on my hands. However, if you require this type of bulb, we can advise you. They do, in fact, last an unusually long time.

Works! It was difficult to find these bulbs

It's great that they're available on Amazon. The bulbs arrived in excellent condition and were well packaged. One of the bulbs has already been used, and the brightness is just right.

It didn't even last a minute

In August of 2020, I purchased a pair of these to use as a bathroom ceiling fan/light combination. Bulbs were bright, fit in the tiny little fan housing with its frustratingly rare GU24 socket, and gave off a pleasant warm glow. I suppose you get bonus points for that. br>br>However, it's October 2021, only 14 months later, and both of us are exhausted. Isn't it reasonable to expect a light bulb to last for at least two years?.
