The following information was obtained using a test light Generally, a white wire is common, a gray wire is normally closed, and a red wire is normally open. This might be of use to you. They are inexpensive, and will work in any alarm application since the switch can be used in the two possible alarm set-ups. The configurations can be updated.

It's a good day! In case of Reed type switches, NC and NO are clear indications of what the switch is. There is an additional 1/8" of height when compared to my AEV ambulance's switches (wired). NO or NC switch with a very low current rating, this product is also able to operate as both.

This is a cool little product

I used it for dome light door switches on my UTV. Low voltage devices need relays to be run, since they are low voltage. They are really good, so I'm pleased. In case there was a problem, I purchased a few spares. You can change one out in 5 minutes no matter which one you have.

Your money will be wasted if you do this

Almost all of them fail immediately. Some switches kept failing after only a couple of One suffered a short circuit at 12v @ 300mA, while the other suffered a short circuit at 5v @ 300mA.
