My experience with this is that I use it to power 12v and 1A LED lights. Despite the 5 amps, it's worked well so far with no noticeable issues. I did have one minor issue, however, as not all the switches worked.

The terminal with a label of NC is normally opened (so the reed relay is not conducted without a magnet). The terminal with a label of NO is normally closed (reactor is conducting without a Also, there are square washers on the terminals, which are too small and spin around in the channel to no good. The other reason I gave it two stars is that they have strong magnets which can be activated when the magnet is close to the switch. I've never been able to get that damn thing to work. In truth, I don't even think there is an actual magnetic component in the set because nothing even sticks together and I am not just referring to a few, but the whole set is ineffective.
Among other things, NC and NO are mislabeled for the screw terminal version, as mentioned by another reviewer. Rather than vice versa, the brown wire gets connected to the NO while the black makes contact with the NC. They are really small, so they are easy to conceal as well. Other than that, they do the job well. My application would definitely benefit from this.
For light in the storage compartments of my RV, I used these small LED lights. I love how effective they are! The circuit boards are easy to install and if you have a tiny LED you can put the wires inline, but you should use it to trigger a relay.

The first one didn't work right out of the box. It was installed on top of the second one I took out. After less than five minutes, the software was not able to work. In fact, I don't even trust any of them because they may work for a few minutes, hours, or even days before falling flat on their faces.
The reed switches are fantastic. The unit has two mount options. It has a low profile. Maybe 0 feet is the range to activate, which is surprising. This is "5". In case you mess up, the leads are nice and long. Not a single click to be heard. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy from them again without hesitation.
